This is a night of mixed emotions,
the whole family are gathering to celebrate the life of my wonderful Nan, it
shouldn’t be a sad occasion but one in which we all come together to appreciate
the family we are because of her, to love the life we live because of her, and
most importantly remember the memories that we all have and share because of
this extremely loved woman. It is beautiful to see the turnout, to see the
friends and family that loved her as much as I did, to laugh together and share
stories of the happy times with my Nan. She brought laughter, friendship and
most importantly family values to our world.
Everyone who knew her loved her; the
only saddening part about this evening is my Nan is too unwell to be able to
attend. She knew this party was happening and for weeks she wanted to come and
celebrate with everyone else that she loved ever so dearly, but unfortunately
all she wants to do is sleep, so this drinks for you Nanny Pat.
